Born in East LA and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, Art Barragan (ATBG) represents his definitive hometown, Baldwin Park, CA.

All through Junior High, High School and some College, Art’s experiences led him to pursue his music career. Art would ultimately would join a few bands throughout his tenure, ranging from Rock, Reggae, Ska and punk to name a few genre’s. While performing as the drummer for a prominent southern California Ska/Punk band, Art had the opportunity to tour all up and down the West Coast with some talented musicians, which allowed him to expand his horizon.

Not until he received a gracious gift of a music production suite from his close friend (Ric Chavez), Art would immerse himself in the program. This program would ultimately change the musical process of Art, which would push him to choose his name as ATBG, “Alwayz The Bad Guy”.

Years later, ATBG would connect with his neighborhood brother (Ric Chavez) and join Chavez Sound, providing a platform for ATBG’s innovative sounds.
