Sh’Kye

Born in Philadelphia, PA – Sh’Kye grew up a military brat spending most of his life in Columbia, SC. Throughout his childhood he participated in singing in a few school choirs and karaoke bars after high school, but did not start believing in his talent until after he joined the military.

Participating in and winning in a few Karaoke Competitions, Sh’Kye sang the National Anthem for a few military events, and was chosen to sing God Bless America for the San Diego Padres and the Atlanta Braves. He participated in the Army’s Operation Rising Star reaching the finals and was chosen to take part in the World Tour of The United States Army Soldier Show.

As he continues his career in the Army, he furthers his writing and singing on various platforms i.e. YouTube, Smule and Soundcloud under the name SlimothyCricket.
